Fred Wise Yacht Survey, LLC provides marine surveys, evaluations, and consultations for both privately owned and commercial power and sail vessels. We are based in the Northern Chesapeake Bay and serve the entire U.S. east coast and Caribbean.
Frederic S. Wise, AMS® is a SAMS Accredited Marine Surveyors and member of the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors. Fred has extensive experience in boat building and marine surveying.

Before purchasing a vessel, a pre-purchase survey allows the Buyer to be informed about the state of the vessel. This is a comprehensive inspection and report of the new or used vessel. Contact us for more information.
An insurance company or lender typically requires this type of survey to determine whether or not the vessel is an acceptable risk. They are interested in structural integrity and safety for its intended use as well as the vessel's fair market value.
